Feld am See sits centrally, so you can choose again each morning: four ski areas are 15 to 30 minutes away, and the ski bus to Bad Kleinkirchheim is free for our guests.
Bad Kleinkirchheim – St. Oswald
103 kilometres of piste and 24 lifts: the largest ski area close by, with runs for every level. The ski bus there is free for our guests.
Gerlitzen Alpe
53 kilometres of piste and 21 lifts, wide and sunny runs with a view over the Carinthian lakes, up to 1,911 metres.
Turracher Höhe
43 kilometres of piste and 16 lifts, fully covered by snow-making and reliable for snow, up to 2,020 metres.
Heidi Alm Falkert & Hochrindl
Small and easy to keep track of, good for families with young children and for beginners on skis.
A free ski bus and 15% off your lift pass
The Ski-Express to Bad Kleinkirchheim is free for guests of Feld am See; you get the tickets from us or at the Tourismusbüro. At the Tourismusbüro in Feld am See you get 15 per cent off when you buy your lift pass, valid for the ski areas in the region, so you can pick a different one each day.
Cross-country skiing and winter walking
The region has just over 60 kilometres of cross-country trail, classic and skating: the Römerloipe near Bad Kleinkirchheim (8 km), the long Ebene Reichenau–Gnesau trail (32 km) and high panorama trails on Hochrindl (11 km) and the Falkert (6.5 km). Or put on snowshoes and finish the day in a mountain hut.
Thermal baths after skiing
The Thermal Römerbad and the Therme St. Kathrein in Bad Kleinkirchheim are the right way to end a day in the snow: thermal pools, saunas and wellness.

How do I get to the slopes without a car?+
The ski bus to the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area is free for guests of Feld am See. You get the tickets from us or at the Tourismusbüro; late in the season it runs on request.
How much do I get off the lift pass?+
You get the discount at the Tourismusbüro in Feld am See when you buy your lift pass: 15 per cent, valid for the ski areas in the region, among them Bad Kleinkirchheim, Gerlitzen Alpe, Turracher Höhe, Heidi Alm Falkert and Hochrindl.
Can I go cross-country skiing here?+
The region has just over 60 kilometres of cross-country trail, classic and skating, among others near Bad Kleinkirchheim, at Ebene Reichenau and high up on Hochrindl and the Falkert. There is no trail in Feld am See itself.
Where do I leave my skis and boots?+
In our heated ski room. Your skis and snowboards go in the rack, and your boots are warm and dry in the morning.
