Between two lakes and the mountains
Feld am See sits at about 750 metres in the Gegendtal, between the Wöllaner Nock and the Mirnock, on the southern edge of the Nockberge. The Brennsee is a few minutes' walk away, and Bad Kleinkirchheim a quarter of an hour by car. The Nockberge have been a UNESCO biosphere reserve since 2012.

The Kärnten Card
From early April to early November the Kärnten Card gives free entry to over 100 attractions: mountain lifts, panoramic roads, boat trips, swimming pools, museums and wildlife parks. It is available for 1 or 2 weeks at the Tourismusbüro in Feld am See, and often pays for itself after a few outings.
Together with the Sonnenschein Card you get from us free of charge, it makes the region a good deal cheaper.
