Terms and conditions

1. Booking

1. These terms and conditions apply to all our bookings. Any deviation is possible only in individual cases and after written confirmation by Berghaus Seeblick.
2. The person who books is jointly and severally liable for meeting all obligations arising from the booking confirmation, both for themselves and for all fellow travellers.
3. We accept booking instructions only from people aged eighteen or over. Bookings by people below that age are invalid.

2. Booking instruction and payment

1. Berghaus Seeblick confirms every booking instruction by email.
2. A deposit of 25% of the total rental price must be paid within two weeks of receiving the booking confirmation. The remaining amount of the rental price must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the arrival date. For bookings made less than 6 weeks before the arrival date, the full rental price must be paid immediately.
3. If the deposit or the remaining balance of the total rental price is not paid on time, Berghaus Seeblick reserves the right to cancel the reserved accommodation. The cancellation conditions remain unaffected, see article 3.

3. Cancellation by the hirer

1. Cancellations must be reported to Berghaus Seeblick by email or by telephone. Once the cancellation has been received, Berghaus Seeblick sends a cancellation confirmation and, where applicable, a cancellation invoice by email within 7 days.
2. The following cancellation percentages apply to cancellations. Berghaus Seeblick recommends taking out cancellation insurance.

4. Cancellation by Berghaus Seeblick

1. Berghaus Seeblick reserves the right to cancel the booking for business reasons up to 3 months before the day of arrival.
2. If Berghaus Seeblick cancels the reserved accommodation for any reason, the hirer concerned will be informed immediately and, where possible, an alternative offer will be made. If the hirer does not accept this alternative offer, or if Berghaus Seeblick cannot make an alternative offer, Berghaus Seeblick will refund the amount already paid immediately. The hirer has no right other than the refund of that amount.

1. The rented apartment and the rooms belonging to it are available from 3 pm on the day of arrival.
2. The rented apartment and the rooms belonging to it must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure.

7. Pets, dogs in particular

1. Pets are permitted only with the prior consent of Berghaus Seeblick and on payment of a fee.
2. The hirer is obliged to keep the pet during the stay in accordance with the rules of Berghaus Seeblick and to supervise it.
3. The hirer is liable towards Berghaus Seeblick for any damage caused by the pet brought along.
4. Mention your dog when you enquire, and we will tell you in advance what is possible and what the fee is.

8. Liability of the hirer

1. During the stay in the accommodation, the hirer is fully liable for the rented accommodation, the furniture and all objects belonging to the rented accommodation. Damage caused by the users or by a pet to the accommodation or to other places in Berghaus Seeblick must be reimbursed to the landlord immediately and in full. Berghaus Seeblick has the right to hold the hirer liable retrospectively if the damage caused has not been reimbursed, or has not been reimbursed properly, or if the costs payable have not been settled in full by the hirer. All associated collection costs are entirely for the account of the hirer named in the booking letter. For damage or defects not reported to Berghaus Seeblick by the day of arrival at the latest, the liability of the hirer set out above applies.
2. The number of people or pets stated in the booking confirmation is the maximum permitted number. Occupancy by more people or pets is not permitted, and Berghaus Seeblick has the right to refuse access to the accommodation if it is occupied by more than the permitted number of people or pets.

9. Liability of Berghaus Seeblick

1. Berghaus Seeblick accepts no liability for loss, theft, damage or injury of any kind.
2. Obvious errors or mistakes in the description or the prices of the accommodation offered by Berghaus Seeblick are not binding on Berghaus Seeblick. Berghaus Seeblick cannot be held liable for interim changes to details or prices, or for printing errors.
3. The price information in the most recently published price list and on the website is decisive. Price information from earlier editions is therefore invalid.
4. Berghaus Seeblick is not liable for damage caused by natural forces, natural disasters, nuclear disasters, attacks, strikes, acts of violence and contact with an aircraft or parts of it.
5. Not all the facilities in the description are available all year round, 24 hours a day. Berghaus Seeblick is not responsible for facilities that, for whatever reason, were not available during your holiday. All facilities are used at your own risk. Circumstances may cause facilities to fail or to be temporarily unavailable. No refund can be claimed from Berghaus Seeblick for this.
6. Building work may take place near the rented accommodation. Berghaus Seeblick accepts no responsibility for any noise nuisance or other inconvenience.
7. Austrian law applies to all our booking agreements and to the agreements arising from them. All disputes arising from a contract may be settled by the competent court.
8. These terms exist in Dutch, German and English. If the language versions differ, the Dutch text prevails.
