A dream that came true

The first time we stood here it was March, the lake was still half under ice and the house was cold. We looked down into the valley from the balcony and both knew it at the same moment. Two months later, in May 2023, it was ours.

We are Sanne and RJ. We moved here with our children, into the heart of Carinthia, and we bought the house together with our parents.

Then came two years of work. First the balconies and all the outside windows and doors, then the three apartments, fully modernised and furnished. The bathrooms are still in their original state, with tiling from the seventies. We are taking those on step by step. We would rather tell you honestly than have you find out once you are here.

In June 2025 we welcomed our first guests. Since then more and more holidaymakers have found their way to Berghaus Seeblick, and we are quietly rather proud of that.

For us hospitality is more than a comfortable apartment. We live here ourselves, so you can simply ask us where the trout tastes best, which route suits the weather that day, and what time to set off to catch the sun on the Mirnock. That is exactly what a booking site cannot do.
