Three entries, one close by

Klösterle near Arriach is the entry for Feld am See: you park by the piste, the Klösterlebahn runs from 8.30 am to 3.50 pm, and at the bottom is the practice centre with two conveyor belts and two drag lifts. The valley run down to Klösterle is 6.3 kilometres. The Kanzelbahn in Annenheim on the Ossiacher See is the second entry, 26 kilometres and half an hour; the third is in Bodensdorf.

What kind of area it is

Wide, sunny pistes on the south side, little that is steep, plenty of views. An area for cruisers and families, and for anyone who wants a different mountain after a few days in Bad Kleinkirchheim. The summit is at 1,911 metres; the season runs until 4 April 2027.

Prices 2026/27

Day pass € 73 for adults, € 36.50 for children born between 2012 and 2020. Six days: € 378 in the main season (25 December to 13 March), € 350 outside it. Anyone with an online day pass travels free on the ÖBB S-Bahn to Annenheim station; from Feld am See the car is more practical.

Two mountains in one week

With the Kärntner Skipass, valid from two days in 31 ski areas across Carinthia and East Tyrol, you switch by the day: Bad Kleinkirchheim a quarter of an hour away, the Gerlitzen twenty minutes, the Turracher Höhe forty. From Feld am See that is not a detour but a decision at the breakfast table.

In summer

The same mountain is a hiking and flying mountain in summer: up by the Kanzelbahn, paragliding from the top, and the Ossiacher See in the afternoon. That combination is on our lakes page.
